Dear esteemed visitors, prospective students, current scholars, alumni, colleagues, and partners, it is with profound pleasure and a deep sense of purpose that I extend a warm and heartfelt welcome to you on behalf of the entire staff, and student community of the Department of Counselling and Human Development, Faculty of Education, Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife. Nigeria.
Our department stands as a dedicated academic home within the broader landscape of higher education in Nigeria, committed to advancing the science and art of guidance and counselling while nurturing holistic human development.
At a time when individuals, families, communities, and institutions face increasingly complex psychological, social, educational, and relational challenges, the work of counselling has never been more essential.
