Omotehinse Oluwaseun is a lecturer in the department of Counselling and Human Development. He had his Bachelor’s degree in Education and Political Science in 2015 in the former Department of Educational Foundations and Counselling. He had his Masters and Ph.D. degrees in Guidance and Counselling in the year 2019 and 2024, all in the Department of Counselling and Human Development, Faculty of Education, Obafemi Awolowo University.

His research interests lie in health counselling, counselling appraisal, sustainable practices and developments in human health and well-being. He has been able to publish a few articles in these areas and continues to research more into them. Omotehinse has been able to attend some conferences where he presented novel ideas and research work on health-related counselling strategies and approaches. Some of these include the 8th Faculty of Education Annual Conference, Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife, in July 2025; 3rd International Conference on Guidance and Counselling, State University of Surabaya, Indonesia, in September 2025, among others.
