Prof. S. A. Ehindero is a member of the Department of Counselling and Human Development, Faculty of Education, Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile- Ife. She obtained a B. A. Ed ( Yor.)in 1994 , Master of Arts in Guidance and Counselling 1998 and bagged a Ph. D in Guidance and Counselling in 2008, all from the Obafemi Awolowo University. Ile-Ife. She has served as the coordinator, departmental Postgraduate programme and Acting head of department respectively. She is a member of Linkages and Partnership Committee in Council of Obafemi Awolowo University.

She is a professor of Counselling psychology focuses on improving emotional,  social, vocational and mental wellbeing  of individuals across the life span. Prof.  Ehindero has supervised a number of students at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels.  She has publications in national and international reputable journals.

Prof.  Ehindero has attended a number of international conferences in United States of America (USA), Canada, United Kingdom (UK), Spain, Ghana, Dubai and served in international assignments as well. Also attended a number of conferences in Nigeria. She is a member of various professional bodies such as Counselling Association of Nigeria (CASSON), Ife Association of Educators, Bullying Association and Association of Educational Researchers in Nigeria (ASSEREN).
