Prof. Oluuwatosin, Sehinde Akintomide, is a Professor and lecturer in the Department of Counselling and Human Development. His area of specialisation is Guidance and Counselling with specific interest in adolescent sexual health, family, marital counselling and training of Teachers and Counsellors. He has published articles in reputable journals on issues covering pedagogy, human resources, counsellors preparedness and effectiveness, teachers characteristics and students’ choice of career, school effective indicators, to mention a few. Apart from teaching and research, Prof. Oluwatosin was the Vice Dean of Student Affairs in the recent past, with the full responsibilities of managing both academic and psychosocial wellbeing of the entire students in Obafemi Awolowo University Ile- Ife. He is currently the Director of Career Services Centre of the Obafemi Awolowo University. He has also participated in various community services and some National assignments such as member of accreditation team for secondary schools with respect to National Examination Council (NECO), also member of research team for STEP-B project in OAU,Ile Ife,  Prof. Oluwatosin also received grant as awarded by the Academic Staff Union of Universities(ASUU) for the best PhD proposal in 2007 and completed it in 2010. .He is currently part of the Tetfund research team on Large Class. As part of community services he renders, he is currently pastoring a local assembly in the Gospel Faith Mission International at Christ Avenue, Eleyele, Ile Ife, Osun State, Nigeria.
